I am 16 years old and iv had 4 amateur boxing matches and each one i had has taken a hell of a lot of convincing from my mom to allow me to fight. The thing is i do not yet know any sort of ground game and i do wish to do so, but the thing is, my mom does not want me to do any sort of mma training or fighting obviously. Is there anything anyone can recommend i tell her because she gets very worried when i tell her i want to train for this. I have snuck 1 of the amateur boxing matches by her. But she found out cuz there was a picture of me punching a guy in the face in the newspaper. Any thoughts?

The best thing to do would probably take her by the school you want to sign up at and have her meet the head people there.

If she doesn’t relent, just keep training on your own until you hit 18.

    Good luck!

Just train until you’re 18 and once that time comes, you’re on your own.
